Life in South Africa intro: My skin is acting up.

in expatriate •  6 years ago  (edited)

Has anyone here moved between places within a short amount of time and found their skin in (deep) trouble? If so, please leave a comment below, preferably with some tips (:

I moved to South Africa (humidity 20%) in early September, traveled to China a month after and stayed for a week before I went home (Taiwan, humidity 80%.) During this time, I constantly experienced skin issues. (I still have a growing rash as we speak.) It was my right thigh, knees, neck, elbows, even big toes. Now I'm just a woman covered in rashes. My diet is generally healthy with veggies, fruit and loads of water. I exercise daily. Is there anything elso I can do? (I'm flying back to SA next week and dreading it.) No meds, please. I have had my fair share of those days.

Pictured below is me doing #yoga. It has nothing to do with the post. #kingpigeon #biteme kingpigeon.jpg
