Should You Move To Mexico?

in expats •  7 years ago

A lot of our subscribers are people who are considering moving to Mexico. Quite often, in one way or another, people are asking us "Should I move to Mexico?" That's a really difficult question to answer because there are so many variables. But, in this video, we attempt to do just that.

Greetings, Miss Tangerine.

Pretty cool your questioning. I don't see myself moving to Mexico or to any country to live. I see myself just visiting and exploring the culture of the country and then returning to mine. Of course I can change my mind, but I doubt it.

We don't hear much about Mexico here. I live in Brazil. Generally, what appears more here is the American and European culture. I guess for the folks in Mexico, you look good, don't you?

What I do know is that the group of the "Chavito" class was from there. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying, because of the translation, but I'm talking about Chespirito (Chapolim), you know?

It was really nice to see his shows. I remember a lot of the episode where they went to the hotel in Acapulco hahaha!

Thank you and good afternoon!

I haven't even had chance to watch it yet but I can imagine very few circumstances where the answer isn't "hell, yes".

I think Mexico is a cool place to be, i bet you'll have a lot of fun down there. First off, let me subscribe to your YouTube channel atleast it might count in the numbers ;)

Should I move to Mexico? I live in Mexico ha ha ha. No, really this is a great country with rich history, but a lot of us feel underpaid and want better opportunities elsewhere

The grass is always greener, my friend.

Everyone does not think the same. Everyone should know what he wants, at least you liked that country because they found what they were looking for in it. Greetings

I think this is the longest video that I've seen from you so far :) Thank you for sharing!!

I am asking myself, why would anybody want to move to a country and not learn the language and live on a fixed budget? I would understand if it would be somebody coming for business and making money but in this case I quite don't get it.. well, people are different :)

I also have some experience with overgeneralizing and I also learned to be more flexible and tolerant. Every country, city, town, village, etc has something to offer. We just need to open our eyes and look for it :)

I'm sure this video will be helpful to many people considering moving to Mexico!

Kinda goes without saying that it was a very practical overview of the issues to consider before making a decision.
But my favourite bit: discussing cultural differences while walking past a Sears, Best Buy & Cheesecake Factory.

Hahaha, that's hilarious, this made us laugh so hard!! We were getting sunburnt so we had to go inside of a mall.

HELLO @TANGERINETRAVELS, YOU ARE ALWAYS FUN FOR ME, I LIKELOVE YOUR PERSONALITIES, AND GOOD I LIVE IN VENEZUELA AND THIS IS A WONDERFUL COUNTRY, BUT THE POLITICAL SITUATION THAT WE ARE LIVING IS FATAL AND WE ARE PASSING WORK HERE, NEVER A VENEZUELAN EMIGRABA, NOW ALL ARE THEY ARE GOING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY, AND MANY HAVE GONE TO MEXICO, I CONSIDER THAT IT IS A GOOD COUNTRY, WITH MANY OPPORTUNITIES AND A LOT OF HISTORY. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IT SOME DAY, BUT I ALSO WANTED TO KNOW US AND PRACTICE MY ENGLISH. GREETINGS FRIENDS

Come and move most to south, move to Venezuela! Is the best! lol
You´ll rich here!

From all i have seen and learned so far from you guys, i would say a big yes. I would love to move there, for a short while though. I really want to see those parks, enjoy those street meals and fresh fruits. I guess i would need a tour buddy due to the language too. You guys have given me a perfect view, as against what i have know about Mexico, prior to now.

You are pretty awesome and glad to see Maddie back on her feet again. Noticed you did two videos in one. That's a lot of hard work. You guys are too amazing and impressive. Gracias.

If Mexico is so cool, why are mexicans moving to other places..

Thank you for the video. Very useful and cognitive.

After spending all of June traveling through Mexico, my wife & I fell in love with the place and for us it is not a matter of "if" but "when". We live in Scottsdale, Arizona USA and although we regularly visit Sonora, it wasn't until we spent time in Mexico City, Ajjijic and Guadalajara that we started to really feel like we were on a path to understanding Mexico. It is at that moment, that we fell in love with the Mexican people, culture, history and opportunities. I see us buying property in San Miguel de Allende and that keeps me going with hope for the future. Thank you for sharing your stories and I look forward to more of them.

Congratulations to the Mexican team! Your video is very useful
