A Very Simple And Boring Fresnel Lens Test

A very simple and boring Fresnel lens test, the lens was salvaged from an old rear projection television set...When angled proper one can get a super amount of heat where you can boil water cook food and other fun stuff but you need to capture the sun into a point and then follow it as it moves across the sky to maintain the heat, this is an old video, first test... This year I think i will do more now that i have a bit more knowledge on it and then i shall update with a blog here.... It would be nice to at least melt some aluminum with it, i have boiled water in the aluminum with it but the aluminum itself did not reach to melting point, which is what I am curious about and also somehow heating a boiler....
