while playing today. ..
i was playing around with the pull-left div today as i wanted to find a way to put some images at the bottom of my profile, i make macros to make my live easier when i'm posting things over here so i want to make sure i have a complete profile outro section with signups and restreams and all that good stuff to remind you, also point you to some other locations around the web - i like playing, i was the same when i animated a gif and managed to get that into my header in my skillshare profile. . i just like to be creative i guess! :)
i did try and get css working in the html as styles but it pretty much ignores them i think. not sure, probably best to not do inline stuff anyway, but i did swap it out and use dummyimage, i wanted to create some spacing between the blocks. the graphics are also url linked, i just wanted to have a nice collection of blocks at the bottom of my profile to send you to the other places around the web i live.
i cannot wait to start making cinemagraphs again, i think i could make a really good story over here in cinemagraphs, i like to make transmedia experiments, donate your steem over here if you want me to start doing that - i need a new camera, yay for centering things in steemit!
seems whatever i do the pull-left and pull-right have a set padding, that's cool. i'll just work around it with some graphics to break up the image 'buttons' - at some point i'll replace the buttons with some cool cinemagraphs gifs but for now the flat colours i think work well, i got the colours from colourlovers btw if your interested. .. :)
i started playing around with doing tables in markdown as well, guess i've got some work cut out to copy across all my courses into that, i only just did it yesterday, guess i've gotta just suck it up and get on with it! :)
EXPERIMENTS WITH TABLES
i spent a lot more time today than i wanted to on learning some of the markdown format but i think it will serve me better over time as i start to post more here. i like the idea that things look more appealing, it's an addiction i've got with every platform i use that i want to add my own creativity and flair on it. do you have that? is that a thing all creative tinkerers have? :)

ok, then.. .back to those footers - so this is what i decided on for now. . of course clickable because i put them in with html, easy to bolt into everything i write by using textexpander (mac) to just call them via a hotkey link. i made some graphics based on a style palette over on colourlovers, took a bit of tinkering but i really love it for now. .
i think i could further develop this with cinemagraphs, gifs in general, maybe do some kind of themed footer for projects as well to drive attention. super pumped to try my hand at some 16:9 and 4:3 storytelling here, especially if you can embed audio from places like soundcloud, could literally make a transmedia reading landscape. reason? well, i'd like to intergrate into the community here and i think you have to have something that stands out for people to engage with it these days so why not be creative at the same time?

sure. i'll write something on it. .. :)
but basically, i want to show the whole process. buying it from ebay, shipping it to a piece of land in spain, making it work to 'live' in, videoblog the whole process, live between england and spain and go for a week every four weeks to 'work' on it. after we have something that's 'livable' (that's why i need the vw t5 transporter to 'live' in first) then i want to expand on the idea with a side project called apiary.haus -- i've been wanting to do this for years. basically build popup boxes that are part coffee shop, part makerspace and help the younger, jobless generation develop skills to help them survive in digital times ahead.
