Exvo is a brand new decentralised crypto exchange backed by it's own coin has just been released over at https://www.exvo.io . I'm going to explore the details of the coin, exchange, mining, and the community that supports it. The coin was officially released to the community on 31/03/2018 with a smooth start, instantly gaining a lot of attention from the users over at bitcointalk.org. Since then it has continued to expand and opened a decentralised exchange to trade not only exvo but many other coins, with new ones being added almost daily. And it's not ending there either, there are big plans for this exchange and coin when looking at the roadmap and will become a major player in the future.
The Coin:
The exvo coin is decentralised currency based on the Lyra2rev2 algorithm with Masternodes, it has a 60 second block time with the total reward being 10 exvo per block. The reward system is split into 3 parts, 5% to dev fund, 55% masternode reward, and 40% to the miners, this changes as more coins are locked into the masternodes and the rewards are shared out more, once 40% of coins are locked masternode holders will get 40% reward, and miners 55%, up to 55%+ of coins being locked away will only reward masternode with 25% of the block reward and the rest to miners. More details on the coin below:
And this is just the start for the coin, in the future it will be fully integrated into the market, with currently a listing fee for a new coin is payable in exvo, in the future you will be able to pay your exchange and withdraw fee's with it, and also direct to fiat currency.
The Exchange:
The Exvo exchange is very new but has already covered a lot of ground since starting, it currently trades over 25 different coins with new ones being added every day. It has a simple layout and is quite easy to use, lets take a look at it below
When visiting the exchange you will be greeted with this screen, you have the options in the top right to register or log back in, it will also show top 3 traded coins by volume and price they went for. Further down in the screen it has an updates section where the latest coins added to the exchange will be listed, also if any maintenance or downtime for the exchange is needed.
After you have registered and logged in you will get full access to the exchange, deposits and withdraws, and trades, having a look at the deposit page and it is simple to make a deposit.
All you have to do is select the coin on the left hand side and whether you want to withdraw or deposit, then on the right hand side the information will change, it will either give you your deposit address with qr code for mobile transfers, when choosing withdraw it will ask for your withdraw address and how much you would like to withdraw. Exvo is currently one of the cheapest exchanges around to make withdrawals at the minute, for btc there is a 0.0003 for withdrawals, Exvo is 0.0002, Doge is 1, the rest of the withdrawals amounts are set at the wallets minimum transaction fee.
From here you can view the markets, by clicking on market at the top it takes us to the following screen
Here you can view which coins are currently being traded, and the last day of trading view able on the graph, you can select which coin you want to trade on the right hand side and it will take you to that market. When placing an order to buy or sell, after selecting the currency you need to scroll down the screen until you get to this
Here you can place you order to buy or sell, you can set you own price or select one of the prices the community have offered in the open buy and sell order table above, it's very simple and new users should have no problem picking it up. From here you can click on your e-mail address in the top right and a drop down box will appear, from here you can access your deposits and withdraws again, have a look at your trading and order history, go into your account information, or simply logout.
Mining and the Community:
You can mine exvo with any graphics card that has a Lyra2rev2 miner, though dont expect to earn much unless you have a rig or 2 with a decent hashrate. It is currently supported by 10 pools based around the world, though arcpool, gos, and epicpool generally have the highest number of miners on. Currently over 100 miners with over 25Gh/s on the network it is proving very popular, and the reward structure for coins being locked away in masternodes gives miners an incentive to mine into the future as their rewards will start to increase. The Lyra2rev2 algorithm is best suited for nvidia cards, with the alexis-hsr miner and the ccminer mod2-r2 providing the best hashrates on these cards, both programs available from github below:

The community is supported by a few different methods, the first is the bitcointalk thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3326054 which contains all the coin information, which pools you can mine at, team members, and to ask questions on the exchange and coin. The discord channel is the most active with a member of the team almost always around to offer help, advice, or support for mining, the exchange, or help with masternodes, you can visit it here https://discord.gg/X6arbXS .
