Four exercises to prevent vision loss.webp

Many people incorporate specific vitamins and foods into their diet in order to prevent vision loss, here are simple eye exercises.

Each exercise only takes a few minutes, but the benefits can't be denied. Give them a try!

The Four Directions Exercise
It is fantastic for strengthening the optical muscles and nerves.

Stand up straight, in a comfortable position, and look to your right and left. Once you have chosen an object to focus on, look to your left and do the same thing.

The Focus Change
This exercise requires you to hold a small object, such as a pencil or a coin, all the way out while keeping your focus on the object you are holding. Slowly move your arm closer to your face, while maintaining your focus on the object you are holding.

The Near and the Far
You can begin by focusing on something close to you about 8 to 10 inches from your face, then move your eyes to another object further away. Repeat that process going back and forth between the close and far objects.

By going back and forth between near and far objects, you can strengthen your nearsightedness or farsightedness.

The palming exercise
It is great when your eyes need a little rest. Sit comfortably in a chair and prop your elbows up on a table or desk. Next, place the palm of your hands over your eyes without using too much pressure. Hold this position for a few minutes to reduce tension.

Every day, you should do each of these exercises to protect your vision and your eye health.

Just as it's important for us to exercise the muscles in our body, it's equally important for us to exercise our eye muscles.

We need to protect our eyes from the stresses, tension, and weakness that can develop as we age due to cell phones, tablets, TVs, and computers constantly around us.
