In a world where everyone is looking for the next big coin, the demand for ICO's has become huge. It was no different when EZPOS offered the 2nd round of their ICO from their website on Monday. The new program is looking like a big hit right now, with people raining in 3 million dollars in contributions while selling off 3 million coins in less than a minute. It has been receiving a good deal of attention from investors, especially those in the Asian market.
What is EZToken? EZToken is going to be the name of the block chain coin used as a loyalty program by the EZPOS company in Vietnam. They have more than 10,000 merchants who currently carry their point of sale equipment, and the CEO of the company says they are signing up 100 new clients per month. The company has a solid plan in place to add value to their program systematically over the next twelve months. There are only 50 million total, with only 15 million being released in the ICO and crowdsale. The other 70% will be release at a rate of 10% per year to those who participate in the program.
I just watched a 30 minute video interview of the CEO of the company and one of his advisers. The adviser was pretty excited about being involved. He spoke very highly of the possibilities for this company to go far and do well, even in a market crash situation. I'm not certain that is true, but it actually could be possible, being that this company is already operating a successful business that is not completely contingent upon the digital currency market. Their operation has been running for years without the block chain, so they may well be able to whether a storm should one ever hit.
Round 3 starts in 1 day and 11 hours. The value of and EZToken in the third round will be $1.20 and they will sell off 5 more million. I'm not sure which one, but I'll probably be selling off at least one of my other coins to get a piece of the action.
