The Hungaroring race track situated in Mogyoród, Hungary had its First Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix held in 1986. The grandprix is held during the middle of the summer and usually have hot weather conditions. It will be the last race before 2019 Formula 1 season goes for a summer break and based on results so far, Lewis Hamilton leads in driver's championship and Mercedes in constructor's championship. Looking at the data so far, Red Bull has made tremendous progress since the start of 2019 season.
Hungaroring, with all it's low- and medium-speed turns, was once considered as a track where Red Bull could dominate.

Practice 2
Practice 2 had mixed conditions and the teams could test the dry tyres for the first 20 minutes. The rest of the session was affected by wet weather conditions and teams did their runs on Intermediate tyres. The data collected does not reveal a true picture of the competition. However, the long runs on Intermediate tyres are yet to be analyzed. For this session analysis, i have considered lap times that was clocked below 82 seconds.

Practice 3
All the teams had an uninterrupted session and did most of the testing on soft compound tyres. Ferrari showed strong pace in Sector 1 and Red Bull in Sector 2 and Mercedes in Sector 3. It is always found that Red Bull have a great long run pace and seems to be the best team at this circuit. Here is the data analyzed for the lap times that was clocked below 87 seconds. As the session ended, Hamiltion clocked the fastest time of 1:16:084 followed by Verstappen and Vettel separated by 0.013 and 0.082 seconds.
