Blackberry's case against Facebook

The Canadian technology company alleged that the world's largest social media and its proprietary apps have copied the technology and features of BlackBerry Messenger.

After a few years of negotiations, the case has been filed. BlackBerry has a responsibility to shareholders to bring the appropriate legal solution, he said.

Facebook's deputy general counsel Peil Grioyl said in a statement that the company will fight this case. He said, "Blackberry's case shows sadly the current situation in the messaging business. Due to innovation, BlackBerry is looking at income from the inventions of others. "

BlackBerry has more than 40,000 patents worldwide in the technology sector including operating systems, networking infrastructure, messaging, automation subsystems, cyber security and wireless communications.
