I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was reach for my phone.

I’ve become pre-programmed and addicted. Like smoking cigarettes that first morning hit of dopamine is as eye opening as Nicotine.

Seeing my name printed on the screen above all the replies to my replies. Self serving bite size hits of love packaged as hate and disdain or singing the praises thereof; doesn’t matter to my brain except if it’s a night of exceptional gas-lighting and insults the overnight rage produced fills me with adrenaline as well as dopamine.

Today I quit!
