Facebook has introduced a new tool for group administrators to annotate and publish the capabilities of a member temporarily.

San Francisco: Administrators can also remove members who violate the rules of their community from multiple groups that administer them with a single click.

These are part of a series of new tools that the social media giant announced to group administrators Thursday night to help them grow and manage their communities with ease.

To help members identify group leaders and other members, the social networking giant has also introduced badges for group administrators, moderators, and new members.

To introduce new members to group members, administrators can now write a welcome publication that automatically selects new authors, according to Facebook.

A unique feature called member profiles has also been introduced. When group members click on another person's name, they are redirected to a specific group template based on publicly available information, such as shared content and a flow of that person's activities in the group.

The social media giant has also developed the Group Insights tool with useful and personalized tips, such as planning contributions to the times when members are busiest.
