OK, I get this distinction; however sometimes people are marginalised because they are from a particular group, so what's wrong with focusing on that?
If people with ginger hair are being beaten up in your area just because they have ginger hair. Does it then make sense to say let's focus on people with hair in general is kinda missing the point.

People are discriminated every day because we are all different and we all have preferences. it comes by default. fat women will always be discriminated against women who look sexy. No I haven't, the reason being is one, it's trivial, two zits can clear up, three nobody is inciting violence against, or trying to stop people with zits getting jobs.

bullshit. this woman and many others will be discriminated because there are better alternatives in regards to look when lets say they go work for a beauty parlor. It is what it is. again. there are studies that show that tall men have it better than short people. There is no law, no movement against that because we all like the tall people instead of the short. We can sit here and romanticize equality but we all have preferences.

again. you are being over-dramatic. Much like someone can be marginalised SOMETIMES for being a woman they can be marginalised for having zits. Pay attention how you are biased towards women..claiming that they somehow suffer more than other arbitrary groups. This is false.

Yes I get your point that they are people first and women second, however people don't discriminate because they're people, it's because they're black, white, female, poor, whatever.

some people are born less intelligent..don't do well at school..get shitty jobs...same with being bold...same with being fat. Not all women are discriminated. not all bold people are discriminated..not all stupid people are discriminated.
