You're the product is a powerful statement, and sadly true in most places on the internet, even something as benign as Google search is constantly farming you for data to add to it's giant collection of information it will use to feed an AI. In the end it gives them a lot of power and could be good or bad, such as a hospital gathering everyones data for medical records now being fed to AI, it could improve healthcare drastically and that's great, but you take data about advertising and feed it to AI and then you have some mindcontrol drone conning people into buying stuff all day, that's not good at all.
