With all the transaction and broadcast errors I had been getting lately, I decided to leave steemit. What better place to go to than Facebook? Here's the problem, I don't have a Facebook account,so I decided to create one today. The truth is I had been planning on creating a personal Facebook account to promote my Crypto Talk Live and I finally took the opportunity today to do that. Sure, I left facebook due to having a feed littered with political nonsense about a government in which we have no real stake in. It was disheartening to say the least. As a businessman, I can clearly see the market that Facebook has especially considering the topics of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. I can post all day on steemit, but I have an extensive network outside of steemit and I need to utilize it to grow my listeners and my steemit following. I hate even being on facebook :(
The truth is, Steemit is best promoted off of Steemit, I've never been one to preach to the choir

As long as sign-up works and accessibility is good (uptime of site) then this platform will grow organically. I've tried to sign up friends and I'm 1 for 5 so far. I've heard of people having to pay to start accounts - which is news to me.
Do what we gotta do, but be wise. We need to look out for each other and do what we can to drive this platform in a better direction.

Ha! I was declared DEAD when I left Facebang. My facebook-friends might as well had a funeral for me when I left. In person it's all good, but anything online I mention about them joining anything outside that bubble gets earmuffed - I'm stubborn AF so I stayed my course
Ended up leaving g+ too and the 15k followers. Honestly, I must be getting old because I'm tired of social media. 😆Kinda hoping Steemit gets ironed out into something that'll last.

Yeah I remember when I left, people started calling my wife asking what happened to me lmao. I left some pretty solid contacts. I really hope that Steemit becomes a contender but we shall see. I've brought at least 15 people to steemit. I'm going to send @Ned an invoice lol
