Starfish do not have blood, but they have a vascular system that allows seawater to be pumped into their food pipe. Their vision is not as clear as that of a human being, but they are able to detect light and move in darkness.

Another curious fact is that not all starfish have 5 arms, there are some species that have many more arms..
