If ELEPHANT lose a mate, they can die due to broken heart or feeling lonely. When they lose their mate they refused to eat and drink anything and they determined todie.
ELEPHANTis the only animal who die due to heartbreakage.
As a news posted on 6 May 1999 a name of elephant DAMINI who refused to eat, drink and move from one place for 24 days under the supervision of experts and doctors.
As per the experts analysis on that they mentioned DAMINI 72-year old seemed determined to die, her heart apparently broken by the death of a close companion. At Lucknow in Northeast India.
As per the study, the elephants are have equal to or more emotional feelings about others than human beings.That is why they also cry real tears as human does and it is only animal who cry with real tears.
