Born again by faith: For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:27

The apostle Paul, as a good apostle of the Gentiles, taught about the importance of the new life in Christ and the uselessness of the law to receive the gift of justification and thus achieve the eternal life, that is, the contemplative life.
By faith, the apostle taught, all Christians are children of Abraham, no longer according to the flesh, but according to the spirit. For this reason, for Paul, baptism had a very special spiritual meaning, the passage from a life full of sins to a life of righteousness ("Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12), and in this sense baptism is a passover, that is to say, a spiritual step.
The flesh and the spirit are according to the doctrine of the Kingdom of heaven, and especially according to the teachings of the apostle Paul, dispositions of the mind towards sin or towards grace, and men have the freedom to choose: "Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires" Romans 8:5.
A Christian can only be a person born again, born from above, by the faith, only if he accepts with a good heart, that change that Jesus asks of us, that change towards spiritual realities, leaving aside love for the things of the world.
With these words Paul addressed to the believers in his epistle to the Galatians, calling them to that faith in Jesus united with the spiritual love, which brings with it that new life:
"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise" Galatians 3:26-29.
