Scriptures on faith: "Who believed in his name, ha gave power to become children of God."

Unlike the synoptic gospels that introduce us to the doctrine of the kingdom of God through the beatitudes of the Sermon on the Mount (Luke 6:20-26 and Matthew 5:3-12) and the parables; John lets us know the kingdom of God through the seven "I am", and through the knowledge of Gnosis and eternal life in the story of the encounter between Jesus and Nicodemus.
The kingdom of God can be seen from two different positions, on the one hand man becomes the "son of God" that is, man seeks the perfections of God (Matthew 5:48), and on the other hand God becomes "son of man" that is, the God's perfections are personified in Jesus.
The Gospels of Luke, Mark and Matthew show us the "son of God" and the Gospel of John the "son of man". This is why the Gospel of John begins in a different way, it tells us that in the beginning was the word and that the "son of man" is the personification of the word and that those who recognize this word are "children of God ": "But to all who received him, who believed in his name, ha gave power to become children of God, who were born, not of blood or of the will of the flesh or of the will of man, but of God.", John 1:12-13
John with this teaching is introducing us to the double nature of the world: a spiritual reality of the "sons of God", and a worldly reality of the "sons of the flesh". We are all subject to the concupiscence of the world, but by a grace we can become "children of God" and for this we need a new birth of the water and the spirit. This new birth is the essence of the Gospel of John (John 3:3).

The Gospel of John is fundamentally a mystical gospel: according to the christian faith we recognize the "son of man", the second person of the Holy Trinity, through the worship (adoration) of wisdom: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." John 4:24. And in this, the worship of wisdom, consists of being "children of God".
