Understanding the faith: "For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Hosea 8:7

In the bible the prophet Hosea explains that small decisions at the beginning can generate big results in the end: "For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Hosea 8:7
This teaching can only be understood in the light of progressive intelligence, that is, the gift of knowledge.
Understanding the faith. For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. Hosea 8,7.jpg
An English poem written in Shakespeare's time tells us about this teaching in another way. A king with his horse went to battle to defend his kingdom, with a badly placed horseshoe on the horse. During the battle the horseshoe lost a nail, then the horse lost the horseshoe, the horse fell and, unable to lead the battle, the king lost the battle. And since then the English say that a kingdom was lost by a nail.
Our decisions have effects, the kingdom of God is progressive, incremental for both: the correct and wrong decisions. This is why to succeed in life, hard work is not enough, we have to be meticulous, perfectionists in the smallest decisions, that is, precise and accurate in our actions. Improvisation can work, but if you make that a way of deciding and acting in the long run you will end up in failure.
The chirstian faith tells us about the people "hard of understanding", the people who do not have a clear method to act and who wait for what luck provides, the best way to harvest whirwind.
The teaching of the prophet Hosea bears a resemblance to the teaching in the gospels: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, form the Spirit will reap eternal life.", Galatians 6:7-8
The teaching of the prophet can be understood as a form of the law of the harvest but with a sense of progressiveness, growth in both, an edifying and destructive sense. Two discernments, two paths, two retributions. We choose.
