CHRIST LIVES IN ME

in faith •  7 years ago

“know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. “But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker. “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!””

@manueljabayajr This is so true! God died for us that we might be free of our sins. God gives us the gift of a day daily that we all might use it for his glory. We should always show our appreciation for his sacrifice.

I know a shitbag christian by the name of @mathiasian.

He tries to censor people by downvoting them randomly. But only those who have less SP than him. Strangely. He's a bully like that. In real life, his favourite hobbies are cheerleading for Donald Trump whilst indulging in neo-Nazi jew hating.

I don't think there's anything in this poor "human's" life that he actually likes. Other than.... The book of AMOS.

Does Christ live in this guy, would you say?

Will he shepherd him to heaven some day? And do you think he could hurry things along?

(Ephesians 4:29) Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

(Colossians 4:6) Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

(1 John 4:20-21) If anyone says, “ I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother who he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

(Romans 12:10) Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

(John 13:34-35) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

(Matthew 5:39) But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

(Matthew 7:5) Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

(Matthew 25:40) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, he have done it unto me.
