"YOU will be rewarded for this;
YOUR HOPE WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
Proverbs 23:18 (NLT)
• Whatever your expectation is, or whatever you are looking up to God for, It will be delivered to you.
- You cannot afford to quit. Do not give up nor cast away your confidence which has great rewards (Hebrews 10:35,36).
- Also, your pay day is at hand, do not give up (Proverbs 23:18). If you play the game right, you will win. It was when you did not play the game right that made you lose.
- If you live by God's Principles, you would not be defeated in life. Faith believes what could not be seen with the physical eyes, and expectations reinforces it.
- Faith and expectation are twin brothers. The Word of God helps boost your faith. And it helps in boosting your confidence in God's trustworthiness as well. Thus, expect to come out of whatever predicament you might be in now.
• What is an expectation?
- It is the thinking or the believing that something will happen or come, As God has orchestrated it.
- Waiting expectantly, and that in line with the Word of God, for whatever you are believing God for. So, you are living today in what you expected in the past. In other words, your past expectations are the realities of today.
- Whatever you expected would come to pass, either good or negative. Thus, Let your expectations be positive. Think good and expect good to happen in your life.
- If you allowed some negative people, the unbelieving Believers, they can talk you out of the good things which you are expecting from God.
- God is faithful, He surely would reward your faith and expectations. Do not quit. You have come too far to quit. Whatever you have been hoping for, praying for, and believing for, is just on the horizons. You payday is at hand!
- All your sowing had not been in vain. All those long nights of praying had not been in vain. All the expressions of love towards others had not be in vain:
"FOR GOD IS NOT UNJUST. HE WILL NOT FORGET HOW HARD YOU HAVE WORKED FOR HIM And HOW YOU HAVE SHOWN YOUR LOVE TO HIM BY CARING FOR OTHER BELIEVERS, AS YOU STILL DO" (Hebrews 6:10 NLT). - If the devil is threatening you, It is an indication that you have got him under pressures. The devil knows that your manifestation is around the corner (Luke 1:8).
• The God we serve is just. He is not only the God of recompense to the righteous, but also the God of recompense to the wicked: "BECAUSE the plunderer comes against her, against Babylon, And her mighty men are taken. Every one of their bows is broken; FOR THE LORD IS THE GOD OF RECOMPENSE, HE WILL SURELY REPAY" (Jeremiah 51:56 NKJV).
- God is going to punish those who stand as enemies of His people:
6 SINCE IT IS A RIGHTEOUS THING WITH GOD TO PAY WITH TRIBULATION [affliction] THOSE WHO TROUBLE YOU, 7 AND TO GIVE YOU WHO ARE TROUBLED REST WITH US when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels" (2 Thessalonians 1:6,7 NKJV).
a. Thus, do not cast away your Confidence: "THEREFORE DO NOT CAST AWAY YOUR CONFIDENCE, WHICH HAS GREAT REWARD" (Hebrews 10:35 NKJV).
b. Do not be wearied and fainted: "AND LET US NOT GROW WEARY WHILE DOING GOOD, FOR IN DUE SEASON WE SHALL REAP IF WE DO NOT LOSE HEART" (Galatians 6:9 NKJV).
• At the time of despondency.
(i) Do not go back into the world.
(ii) Do not forsake the gathering of the people of God (Hebrews 10:25).
BE regular in the church meetings. And be totally committed in the Kingdom service.
(iii) Read books and listen to Teachings that can encourage, revive, and inspire your Faith.
(iv) At the period of waiting:
a. Your faith would be tested (Romans 4:19-21).
b. At such a time; weigh every counsel given you by the concerned, or well-meant, people, in the light of the Word of God—the Bible (Proverbs 21:30; 1 Corinthians 1:19,20).
c. Do not be in a hurry to get results, or be in haste to be released or moved out of the training, which God is taking you Through:
"NOW no chastening [discipline] seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, AFTERWARDS IT YIELDS THE PEACEABLE FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY IT" (Hebrews 12:11 NKJV).
d. Learn whatever God wanted you to learn from the situation at hand (James 1:3,4).
e. Know that there is a time limit for every problem. At the expiration time, you will surely come out of it:
"UNTIL THE TIME THAT HIS [Joseph's] WORD CAME TO PASS, THE WORD OF THE LORD TESTED HIM" (Psalm 105:19 NKJV).
READ: Luke 1:80; 1 Corinthians 10:13).
IN addition to this, the expiration time can be speeded through your obedience and your cooperations with the Holy Spirit, in learning and putting to practice whatever you are being taught.
f. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Solutions and succours are found through prayers.
IT would be encouraging If your spouse and children could join in praying with you.
YOU may not be able to overcome alone, but with the joint efforts of your immediate family in Prayers; a way out would be made by God.
• The expectations of the righteous shall not be cut off (Psalm 9:18; Proverbs 23:18; 24:14).
- God will only bring to pass the expectations of the righteous; those who trust in Him, and walk in the light of His Word. God is committed to those who lives right, those who walk in line with His Word.
- If you live in Sin secretly, that could make you stay longer in your Problems. BECAUSE, God would NOT bring to the fulfilment, the expectations of the person who lives in Sin (Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15,16).
- When God's time of visitation has not come, there is nothing you can do than to wait patiently; in Prayer, in Holiness, that is, in walking in the light of God's Word. And working for the building of His Kingdom on earth.
- Many Believers at such a time complicated their problems by going to wrong places for solutions, which they should not have gone at all, As Believers in Christ Jesus.
• Waiting time might not be palatable or easy, but you just have to go through it patiently and learning through it with endurance; because it is meant to birth, or produce, something in you.
- The nature of God, which is Holiness, is partaken at such a time—the time of waiting. And also, the fruit of the Spirit are grown or produced at the time of waiting or expectation (Romans 5:3,4; James 1:3,4).
- What you are expecting from God might not come as you had thought (Job 14:14; Habakkuk 3:17,18). But you should know that God is faithful, He is not a man that should lie, He will surely bring His Word, whatever promise to be brought to pass; to the fulfilment in your life (Numbers 23:19).
- God's trustworthiness can be depended on—He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). God will never come late, but He might not come as you had expected; He will do whatever He has purposed to do, in His own way, and in His own time.
- When the time comes for the fulfilment of His Promises, you would see some Signs; If you are sensitive, discerning, and inclined to the understanding of spiritual Signs or the move of God.
- When the time of favour comes, things begin to happen, and people start to remember you for Good. Those who had forsaken you would begin to look for you. Help would begin to come from least expected ends.
- The truth is, you may have to wait, for the change; till the appointed time of God's visitation. Wait patiently for the Time will surely come!
• You will not wait in vain in Jesus' name.
- Whatever is contrary to your health is rooted up in Jesus' name.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).

b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
