IF YOU HAVE FAITH AND DO NOT DOUBT

1. NOW in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.
2. And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” IMMEDIATELY THE FIG TREE WITHERED AWAY.
3. And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”
4. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, IF YOU HAVE FAITH AND DO NOT DOUBT, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.
5. AND WHATEVER THINGS YOU ASK IN PRAYER, BELIEVING, YOU WILL RECEIVE."

• Jesus cursed the fig tree and it withered.

• There is power in your mouth, authority has been given to you as a Believer in Christ Jesus (Luke 10:19).
• Jesus said if you have faith and doubt NOT, you can do what He did and EVEN more (John 14:12).
  YOU can pray for whatever you desire that may be in line with the Word of God, By faith, and you will receive it (John 14:13,14).

• “The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” (Matthew 21:20 NLT).

• There is power in the spoken words (Luke 21:16; 1 Samuel 3:19).
• Your words have power, you are given the authority (Luke 10:19). And if you do pay the price for walking in the miraculous; signs and wonders, you will see your words producing results (Mark 9:29).
• For your words to be weighty, carry power, you have to pay the price: "HOWEVER, this kind [of demon] does not go out except by prayer and fasting" (Matthew 17:21 NKJV).
• The price required for the kind of feat Jesus performed in the passage CAN only be done through genuine intimacy with God the Father (John 14:10,11).
• The Word of God in your heart and the practicing of it, faith, prayers, fastings, Givings, praises, and other spiritual exercises; empowered your words and caused them to be weighty (1 Samuel 3:19).
• Every believer has been given authority to command and rule—dominate on the planet earth (Genesis 1:28; Luke 10:19).
• The authority has been GIVEN, but has to be activated and appropriated through genuine intimacy with GOd and by living an obedient Life: "Do you not believe that I AM IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IS IN ME? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own authority, BUT THE FATHER WHO DWELLS IN ME DOES HIS WORKS" (John 14:10 ESV).

• Be ready to deny the self in order to please God, and do His Will.
• Until you learn to obey God even when it was tasking or difficult, your WORD may not have any effect when it is spoken.
  YOUR level of obedience determines the authority you wielded.
• Jesus could perform that astonishing feat because He was obedient to God in all things (Philippians 2:5-10).

• Walking in the miraculous.

• Jesus walks in the miraculous in His earthly ministry.
• You too can walk in the miraculous daily if you can do what He did: “THEN Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, IF YOU HAVE FAITH AND DON'T DOUBT, you can do things like this and much more" (Matthew 21:21 NLT).
• Jesus statement is a conditional statement: “…if you have faith… and you do not doubt”.
• Faith and doubt are two opposite Forces.
• If you have Faith? It means, when there is no doubt in your HEART; but if you DOUBTED in your heart, it means you have no faith (James 1:6,7).

6 BUT let him ask in FAITH, WITH NO DOUBTING, for he who DOUBTS is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
7 FOR LET NOT THAT MAN SUPPOSE THAT HE WILL RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THE LORD."
James 1:6-7 NKJV

• Your words are empowered by Faith.

• Faith makes your words powerful: "...If you have faith and do not doubt..." (Matthew 21:21).
• Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
• Faith is the ticket to your victory (1 John 5:4).

• Without faith your expectations cannot be delivered IN your hands: "BUT LET HIM ASK IN FAITH, WITHOUT DOUBTING, for he who doubt.... let NOT that man SUPPOSE that he will RECEIVE ANYTHING FROM THE LORD" (James 1:6,7).
• Faith in the Word of God plus fasting and consistent prayer MAKE you an authority in God’s Kingdom.

• Another name for faith is obedience.

• Obedience is the DOING of what you have been instructed to do by God: "BY FAITH ABRAHAM OBEYED when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going" (Hebrews 11:8 NKJV).
• If you find it difficult to do what God has commanded in His Word, the Bible, or the Word given to you through His servant, or the Word spoken to you personally by the Holy Spirit in your HEART; then your faith is low or zero.
• Until you begin to OBEY, you are in doubt, in unbelief.
  UNBELIEF will rob or deny you of your blessings—miracles.
  UNBELIEF is deadly and God detests it with Passions (Hebrews 11:6).
• The truth is, you cannot receive from God without Faith which is obedience to His Word (James 1:6,7,22,25).

• Obedience is a major key in the Kingdom of God.
EVEN when what God commanded to do looks foolishly, obey anyway, if it was found in the Bible.

• Total obedience is needed to walk in the miraculous
• You may be fasting, quoting Scriptures, and praying without obedience.
• When you are practicing all the spiritual exercises but failed to obey the instructions given by God, your WORDS and prayers are meaningless.
  THEY would have no substance, power, to effect any change, or produce results or miracles.
• The main reason why you do not obey the Word is because you do not believe.

• How long would you keep on in disobedience, doubt, and unbelief?

• When you made up your mind to obey God in every instruction given by Him, the commandments in His Word, and the instructions laid in your heart to do; you are set for greatness and honour.

• Prayer
AS you begin to obey I see new doors opening before you.
I see every mountain on your way levelled.
I see you rising, shining and soaring higher in the mighty name of Jesus.
