4 Passovers

We had 22 people here Friday night for our Passover meal. We cooked our first goat and needless to say, I'll be good til we have it again next year HA!

I just prefer our homegrown beef out of any meat I eat. In fact I cannot eat meat out in a restaurant anymore.
We had 10 adults and 12 kiddos joining us this year. All family except one set of friends that are like family.

And if you are hosting that many people, and it's been raining for days, I suggest putting the trampoline in the barn :)
We had a lovely weekend talking about the Passover stories in the Word about Abraham/Isaac where YHWH passes over Isaac and saved one man. Then the Exodus story of the Passover lamb and the blood saving one household, then Jesus as a our Passover lamb saving the entire world by His blood. And lastly, the Revelation Passover when He saves those who followed Him for eternity in the new heaven and new earth. It was a fascinating progression. And so many similarities. Hope you all had a Happy Passover!

That looks like a lot of fun! Roasting your own meat over a fire? Sign me up! It must have smelled pretty amazing in Goshen those many years ago. Barbecues all over the place! @ironshield

It did smell great! We sewed onions, garlic, apples, and lemons inside it. Slaughtering it was so sad, but really made you realize how much the blood meant. So amazing!

Sounds like you had a very blessed weekend! I haven't hosted that many folks for a while. I remember how much work it was but how rewarding too!

Yes, it's definitely stressful at times, but the company and connections are so very rich!

Now that sounds like a great Passover! I stress before hosting a meal, and then once it’s happening and over, I always think to myself, why was I so worried for? Lol

I tend to be a Martha, so it's sometimes a struggle for me to relax and enjoy.

22 people all observing Passover together! That's awesome!

:) it was a blessing!

Wow excellent, I have always wanted to be somewhere where there is a lamb roasting over a fire! Looks like a fun time and glad to see you had so many people to celebrate the Father's Holy Day! Also Happy Week of Unleavened Bread to you as well!

Thank you! We took school off this week and are enjoying it very much!
