ATTENTION TO GOD: THE WAY TO PEACE - Part 1

Many people are busy talking to God every minute, hour, day but wound not pause for a while to hear Him speak.

We pray, cry, query God for some seeming unpleasant situation that come our way. We expect Him to answer yet, do not listen.

We fast for many days hoping to see visions, yet, we didn't pause to have a gaze of what He is showing us.

During my devotion today, God spoke loud in Isaiah 48: 17- 19 thus:

This is what the Lord says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.
If only you had paid attention to my commands,
your peace would have been like a river,
your well-being like the waves of the sea.
Your descendants would have been like the sand,
your children like its numberless grains;
their name would never be blotted out
nor destroyed from before me.”

Can you remember the last time you waited on God to speak to you? He is always showing you something. He is always speaking, only that you didn't pause to see and hear Him.

I shared this word to encourage you this afternoon that God is not far from you. All the messages you heard that brought hope to you are real. God has heard all your prayers. Just find time to give Him your ATTENTION.

Stop busying, listen up.
