CNN is dead. Mainstream mockingbird media,death by 1000 cuts

So I've got some "experience". Lived a full life. I remember the day when Nirvana,Soundgarden and Pearl Jam flipped the script,and the hair bands of the 80's and 90's saw the writing on the wall. Their time was up,they knew it and exited the stage somewhat gracefully with the exception of maybe Motley Crüe but by then they were riding on history anyways without anything new to carry them.
And overnight alternative music became the mainstream. It wasn't a slow and steady rise,it was meteoric and hit like a hydrogen bomb.
While this alternative take over in music as happening there was a war going on. The first crack at Iraq. And CNN "was there".
There were 2 "journalists" who would give their hourly report,on location in Saudi Arabia. They'd interview soldiers who would describe in detail the specific battles going on sparing few details.
Then suddenly the sirens would go off. The correspondents would put on their gas masks,their helmets and look overhead,waiting for the incoming scud missiles and then it would cut to a Patriot missile impacting that nasty scud,and the war correspondents would pay each other on the back and 'Murica for all watching at home.
For months these guys were on every day,updating the eager public and CNN took over news. They created the genre.
And then it happened. A tape got smuggled out of CNN. It was hundreds of hours of footage of these CNN "on location in Saudi Arabia" correspondents laughing and joking and the cameras cut over from the set and we all saw the roof of a huge warehouse.
Turns out all this up to the minute,play by play war was a set in Atlanta,and fake news was exposed for the first time.
In the 50's the CIA implemented a project called mockingbird. They put assets into the news media,print,radio and tv. These assets would censor stories,and distribute propaganda to the audience,similar to the communists at the time except the communists knew it was propaganda,the American public didn't.
Good ole Anderson Cooper actually was an intern at the CIA before being picked up by CNN,just an I tersying tidbit.
So James O'Keefe and his newly released recordings of a high level CNN producer,and Van Jones both admitting there is no evidence of any Russian hacking or presidential collusion and that "its ratings" reminds me of the day I saw the first exposé of CNN being shown as fake news.
Jeff Bezos,mr.amazon buys the Washington post for 300 million. 6 months later the CIA pays him 600 million for what's being described as "cloud operations"
No look at the Washington post. Daily anonymous source stories. Anonymous intelligence operatives. More like a CIA owned and operated news paper using Bezos as a figurehead for credibility.
So CNN is the first to drop. A dying dinosaur,like all mainstream media has become. Dying but don't know it. Like when Soundgarden took over the charts and guns and roses fell off it was obvious the game had changed.
And the news game has changed.

We will now watch as these multi billion dollar operations hold on for dear life. While alternative citizen media with an investment of nothing more than a laptop,a microphone and an internet connection keep slashing at the high cost talking heads,each cut bleeding out the monster that little bit more.
It's going to happen very fast. And the public will react,a lot like they did when nirvana released nevermind and smells like teen spirit hit the airwaves.
They never looked back.
