Fake life is seen as a type of personality you showcase to people which is not your habitual life style, probably to get favor or to impress the opposite sex.

Naija is a place where such fake lifestyle is highly common among Men, women, celebrities and even high society people. In this article, I will be discussing about few of this fake lifestyle we encounter on our everyday life.. 

### SOCIAL MEDIA LIES

>Social medias are computer mediated technologies that facilitates the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interest and other forms of expression via virtual communities and networks.>

 In Nigeria, social media has taken entirely different turn from the original purpose it was meant for. In fact, when it comes to social media lies both sexes are involved. We will all agree to the fact that, politicians always lie in this part of our country but the lies and fake life style in social media is enough to make the *"devil ask for forgiveness"* . People now use social media to commit all sort of social vices, deceive a lot of people about living a flamboyant lifestyle, showing off houses, flaunting cars and jewelries. **My guy, all of them, Na wash, some know even get bicycle.** People will never tell you what they are passing through in social media, they will only show u there fake lifestyle, making so many people wonder if they were created by the same God who is the giver of good things and has chose to favour them alone and allow you to suffer. Please, don't get me wrong oh, I'm not trying to discourage you from celebrating with people when they buy new things for themselves and share on social media but what I am only trying to discourage is getting worked up and feeling bad you are not doing well in life because some of the things we see on social network are just make believe to look as if they are progressing.

### FACIAL LOOKS

Looks this days can be really deceiving. You will meet a fine girl on social network, you guys will chat for long, on the day you both are meant to see each other , he/she turns out to be entirely different from the person you have been chatting with all this long period of time, just because he/she must have uploaded there childhood picture, which have undergone so many filtering from photo shop. Most times, I don't really blame when young men and women hide at the back of a car, when they are expecting someone they met in social media. I know is childish but then again, you won't blame them. 

We know that ladies can't do without make up but please let it not be too much in a way it would lead to deceiving a guy that he has finally seen an angel. There is this popular adage common among we Nigerians," *if you want to know a good looking girl, see the person, when they just woke up from sleep*". This is actually true . Is not a crime to put make up and look good for your man but let it not be deceiving.

### FAKING ACCENT People always fail to understand that we were brought up differently. The way you speak, may be different from the way another person speak. There is no point forming British accent, when u know u sound like a typical ijebu-ode man. You will just be sounding like * Jennifer. * English is just a borrowed language from the westerners. Be proud of your mother tongue. Lol. 

### Fake butts and boob's. 

One thing I love about we Nigerians, is that, we can package for Africa. We always want to give a wonderful impression. And u will never catch them on the spot. I'm not arguing the fact that we don't have big butts, **but my guy know be everything wey shine be gold.** With the new fashion trend easy to wear butt pants and push up bra, fake butts and boob's never look much better.

### Sleeping pattern. 

Just when I thought fake lives happens consciously, it will shock you to know that girls live fake life even when they are unconscious. Imagine a situation, where you have been dating a girl for years and each time you see her sleep, you fall in love over and over again, only for you to pay her visit at her parents house, you find that same girl sleeping in a fearful way.. You begin to ask yourself, is this the same girl that have been sleeping at your house all this years or is her twin sister..? 😊.

Honestly speaking, we don't need to kill ourselves all in the name of impressing others or to appeal the opposite sex. If it is **"bend down select"** your money can afford to buy, you get it for youself. Just have it at the back of your mind that is just for a short time. Things will definitely get better by God's grace and you will get things far much better than what you dreamt of. People should like you for, who you are. If they can't keep up with you, they should leave your life. Is far more better to surround yourself with real friends who can stand by you in good times and bad times. What we should always strive to do is been successful in life.
