Hello all!
Recently ive been bringing my little sister to behind the wheel. For those who dont know, this is a course offered through her high school to help them learn the correct way to drive before getting their license. Anyways, shes been so nervous about it because A. Shes a teenage girl 😂 and B. Its with a teacher shes never met. So prior to her time slot we sit in my car and talk about life and school and basically anything to calm her down.
Most recently, shes told me that school is so hard and it got me thinking.
Ive been out of high school for 10 years, but when i think back on it, i remember thinking "this is so hard, why do i need to get good grades" when in reality high school was THE easiest thing ever! Your still (presumably) supported by your parents, have a roof over your head and food to fill your stomach and any money you do have that you worked for you could blow on pointless shit (i.e. movies, bowling, basically anything)
Then you graduate and all of a sudden you have to adult. Pay bills, work to have the money to pay your bills, go to college if youre interested. Adulting is not fun lol
Anyways i just wanted to reflect on the last 10 years.
Now im married, with a beautiful daughter, and two dogs. What a change, but i wouldnt trade it for anything ❤😘
