Family traditions are considered to be repetitive joint actions that are clear to others. Are rituals and ceremonies that are passed in the family from generation to generation.
Needless to say how important the traditional family hierarchy? Namely, the man standing at the head of, strong and reliable, able to solve problems of all family members: wives and children, and the older generation who will come to the rescue in any difficult situation.
Of course, the family must be "male" and "female" roles. Then the family structure is clear and simple. For example, the husband earns money and solves complex issues. And the wife is engaged in education of children, maintenance of home and self-education of the family.
The types of family traditions
The first wonderful tradition of a young family – marriage. Traditionally, the bride wears a white dress, mother of the bride traverses several times the machine where the young will be escorted to the registry office, the bride and groom sprinkle with coins, candy, hops, etc., serve bread with salt. All these traditions are wonderful, they are treated with special awe.
Then, when the family is already created, it begins to celebrate birthdays, New year, pay tribute to the sad events. It is also tradition. If a child from birth would see how happy his family celebrate the birthdays of all its members, including himself, he will realize how much they appreciate how happy he was born.
The family cannot exist without traditions!
If the family has no traditions and values, or not observe them, is a direct path to its destruction. Bad also introduce harmful traditions, for example, a drink after work or spending all weekend in a nightclub.
The words “family tradition” usually cause people associate with old clans, large families, by some hard-set rules and strange customs. In fact, family traditions are what people hold in their homes, no matter what size it may be. If you have a routine every day before going to sleep read baby books, and on Sunday the family was outdoors, so you keep and respect the traditions of your family. They may be in customs matters, celebrations of anniversaries and in many other ways.
Why we need family traditions? Family traditions bring together all the close relatives, makes a family a family and not just a community of blood relatives. In addition, family traditions and rituals allow the child to feel the stability of a way of life: "in any weather" in your family will be what wound up; give him a sense of confidence in the world and the security; create a unique childhood memories, which the kid will someday tell their children.
Beginning of a new year is a good occasion to start a family tradition if you don't have one.
