FAMILY MATTERS: How I celebrated my birthday

I woke up around 5:30 am this morning. Umm, I don't know I felt my body was heavy. I struggled to run at the bathroom even with tired eyes and lazy bones. When done, I hurriedly dressed for work when I heard my daughter shouted "Happy Birthday,Ma!" That moment I remembered why my heart was heavy. Today is my special day! Yet, here I am prepping to go to work. So I just smiled and said "Thank you!". When I was about to leave, she asked me to go home early. I nodded.
The whole day at work was quite busy. I don't know, maybe it's because Melbourne Cup is just a few days away. My colleagues surprised me with a cake. One of my colleague also gave me cookies.
My shift has ended and I was so eager to go to home. I dropped by at Gaisano and bought a cake, ice creams and junkies. I hurriedly went home and I was so happy to see my middle child. Lourene. She attended on my special day and the two girls also gave me a surprise. They cooked a special spaghetti!I was truly touched to see my kids reunited. My wish has granted! Thanks, Lord..
