Daily worship: Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind. Proverbs 11:29

The book of Proverbs teaches us a misfortune with a happy ending: "Whoever brings ruin on their family will inherit only wind, and the fool will be servant to the wise.", Proverbs 11:29. This teaching bears a resemblance to the teachings of Jesus on the Sermon on the Mount (Luke 6:24-26), he who sows error reaps destruction. Reap or sow wind is an expression frequently used in the old testament: "They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.", Hosea 8:7.
Inheriting wind means that nothing of value is inherited, also it can mean that when the wind is strong, something that annoys is inherited. Inheriting wind is the curse of the fool, that is, the fool works to obtain something that futile (works of the flesh, Galatians 5:19-21). Somehow the Bible explains to us, the wise run after eternal life (contemplative life) and immortality (spiritual gift of longevity), the fool after nothing.

We are all subject to the law of the sowing and reaping: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life”, Galatians 6:7-8.
The book of Proverbs warns us that there are two ways (Psalm 1), two are retributions; we take the correct path or the wrong path, then the consequences come.
Then the book continues and says that the fool will become the servant of the wise in heart. The wise person, the person who loves the good for the good itself, is the person who orders, corrects, teaches. That is, when the disaster is great there is no other choice but to leave the government to the wise, in this case the family is the country.
The wise man is the one who sets the correct path for things, he is the leader par excellence, because he solves what is presented to his judgment as God in person (gift of counsel), the wise man is the person full of the holy spirit, the "new man" or "spiritual man" of the gospel.
