Screw Gender Roles...I LOVE Taking Care of My Family

Ok, so as I sit in bed... FINALLY home from the hospital(it was a longggg 2 days), I find myself reflecting a bit. And still plucking tape from all over and greasy glue from my head. But... I missed my babies so much(hubby & daughter) and I missed caring for them. To come to the mayhem after only two days away from them kind of made me feel good. Weird right? I realized how needed I am by my Family. People may judge me because I assume a housewife kind of role and think it's less than... but this is the BEST job ive ever had. And the two of them shared mine and mannys bed while I was gone because they missed me. We sent each other funny pictures. And Manny even wrapped his head in toilet paper to mimic my picture to him to make me smile. It was adorable. I saw how much they need and appreciate me... And how we don't function properly unless were a whole. Together. I see now after 2 shitty days in the hospital the REAL meaning of BEING a family. We totally kick ass at it. Like a perfectly oiled, loving, wonderful machine. Lol. I love my babies <3 And caring for them.

            That's good that you like what you do. Some people complain about it and most do not appreciate all the work a stay at home mom actually has to do. I know it's more work than I like to do.
