My earliest memory is on a Sunday morning. I was 3. I had on my Sunday dress and white shoes with lace socks, and went in the front yard. It was close to Halloween. My neighbor's kid, who is 10 years or so older than I am, was making ghosts out of Kleenex and hanging them in their tree. I was so fascinated! She let me help, too!
Then out of the house comes the "GET IN HERE" yell. And I went, and got spanked because I could have gotten my dress dirty.
Weird first memory to have.
