Dearest PAPA

I see your eyes with green brown eyes before, a nice and beautiful nose, and shiny black curly hair, friendly and joyful words that come out of your mouth, a firm young skin and with fine yet simple garment that he wear. An effortless man I know that his presence is a safe haven and will surely guide me.

As a kid before, I can still remember the things I did. Playing within the mini garden of my mom and having a cute playmates both girls and boys and suddenly, night comes and we see the beautiful firefly that blinks with yellow and orange colour. We followed the fireflies and happily collect it in a tiny glass to be in display, to stay it inside and we sometimes talk with them unknowingly. When I recall it now, that I am already young professional, it really signify the little appreciation of the things that we had and being just simply joyful.

My Papa, the one who comfort me after my mom delivered me in this world. The first man in my life to curve his lips like the happiest guy in the world.

A man that demonstrate a cool and funny vibes when you encounter him. A man that will surely be a guide to your heart that will show his unspeakable love through hug. A silent man that even he is late to his work he will still come with you until your last destination. A great man that show his love through deeds and less of words. A careful man that will allow you to experience the hurtful things, to spot what to take in or to take away. A nice guy that will offer you a sit before he take his and open the door for you so that you will not take an effort to do but he gains it just for you. A man who remember your 'pasalubong' a souvenir and unexpected gifts waiting for you to open. A fine looking man that will set a high benchmark of respect, understanding, an enormous provider, being strong and even loved you even without conditions. A hardworking man that cooks a delicious food after his long day of work but still manages to prepare it for his family. A big playmate that is willing to be with you even it’s not his thing. A man who stays stronger even there maybe unseen hurtful things happened to him that is beyond your eyes. But I salute you for being a man who endure every hardship and try to smile after the storm and distress.
I really thank God for your life that symbolizes a big impact to my life that never loses his light resembling the firefly that I want to carry all the days of my life, but it’s not the same way around. Time will come and I will stand in my own and all of it is.... history but well-orchestrated experiences happened that no amount of money can afford it. It is beyond precious stories that I will treasure.

Now, I see your happy eyes full of fulfillment, having a gray curly hair with wrinkled skin but a strong mind to live life to the fullest. A life that is came from above.
