I suppose that the decay we now have in the world around us is as a result of decay in the family system!
The first institution to ever exist was the family. Maybe this is because God knows it is integral to maintaining the level of sanity in our world.
In the family settings that existed long ago, parents had time for their children and offered guidance.
But today, they only have time for work and a bit of partying!
The families of old valued communication, but these days, everyone is busy communicating with an "abstract" companion on the social media.
The world is fast changing!
Values are fast disappearing!
But if we return to upholding the core family values, we may still be able to salvage sanity from going into total extinction.

Totally agree. We are losing values.it is all because of peple run after money. They donot give time to their beloved ones. Steemit is just like a family people do care each other.

I truly agree that the family should be the first level of socialization. But the foundation of family has been destroyed thus evil is begating evil, so i don't think the family is credible to restore our long lost sanity. The evil in the family spreads from one geneartion to the other and we dont have the choice to select the kind of family we pick. It left for every individual to restore his her sanity and it left with us with sanity to preach and encourage others to acrivate their sanity.

Nice write up. You can only give what you have. Most families have absolutely nothing to give. And unfortunately, we had no choice choosing the family we are born into but i guess we still got the chance to make things right,should it have gone wrong at any point.
