Saying goodbye forever hurts.

My dear friend has gone, she rode in a casket painted with a blue sky and cherry blossom, in a glass carriage with 2 beautiful black horses. We held the traffic up for a good 20 minutes, she would have loved to see the people stop and look, the little children standing watching as the horses majestically trotted to her last place on this earth.

The funeral was tearful and sad, the words were beautiful telling every one what we had lost. All her friends and family filled the church to sit with her as the tears fell.

The crematorium was quick but pleasant until the curtain closed more tears fell, we slowly left the crematorium to travel to the wake.

Now gran loved to lunch, she loved to go out for tea and scones, she loves the high life and loved the luxury. She had planned us a buffet of sandwiches and treats, with cakes and the biggest pile of scones, jam and cream, her favourite treat. We sat a picture of her onto one of the chairs where we raised a glass to our loved one.
