The first line must be very explicit: I am excessively proud of my boy!
My boy is Venezuelan and he writes in Spanish, but if you want to know something specific about his book, tell me in the comments.
As a literature lover, I found it particularly incredible that my nephew was assigned the task of making a complete book.
His name is Elías Alejandro. With 8 years old he reads and writes with ease (although sometimes he has a doctor's letter) and also practices soccer. At school, they asked him to carry out a project to encourage reading in the community. He took some stories and together with my sister, they managed to create what you will see in the next pictures.
The greatest thing about this anecdote is that he asked my sister to help him with "technical" and "carpentry"
things (sewing, gluing, trimming...), because himself wanted to be the principal author of his work.
I gave my contribution as you have to imagine. I offered material, some small diagramming tips and the best motivation: a hot dog and an ice cream, which you will see at the end.
Part of the value of the work lies in that he placed in his book one of the most emblematic myths of the Venezuelan Andes: the story of "Caribay and the Five White Eagles", which represent the great mountains of Merida.
