Day 24

in family •  7 years ago

Saturday has arrived and Im happy to announce that my children will be arriving in a few hours to spend the night with me here. Its something to look forward to and allthough we don't really have many plans at the moment just being together will be great. I was not sure if she would let me have them this weekend, but after hearing from the kids directly asking to see me and telling me they miss me I made arrangements for them to be brought to me. Like I normally do I will post later with some pictures of us together and hopefully the weather forecast is wrong and we can walk down to the beach and spend some time there.

Was expecting post payouts to start to picking up a little bit since the hard fork but they haven't really. Being in a very dificult financial situation right now Steemit is becoming a bit of a dissapointment. I really hope that this turns around soon as it does demotivate not just me from posting but also new users that are joining the platform.

nice post

treasure every second you can with your children. Before you know it they will be grown and off chasing their own dreams with their own children.

I hope you have an awesome visit with your kids.
I still have faith in Steemit. I'm sure there will be improvements in payout once you get closer to the 7 day payout but I believe things will settle into a "norm" in a month. May the weather hold out for you for beautiful pics at the beach. :D

Thanks I will @merej99. I have not lost faith in steemit but its frustrating for me at the moment being forced to power down and having to sell my steem. I know it may not seem like much but what little I was earning from steemit pre hard fork helped out not just financially but to keep my mind of things.

Enjoy your time with the kids... appreciate these little "islands of joy" as they come to you. Hoping your skies will soon be brighter!
