ADHD, Autism, Tourettes and OCD... A child with additional needs

Similar situation over here but the school he was in kept doing things that just felt 'wrong' and I later learned they were breaking so many laws. They were overly aggressive with him and restrained him on several occasions without documenting it. We had to take him out of that school for his emotional and physical safety but I would like him to return to school next year. He's getting so used to being home though so it will be challenging if I want him to return! I will look into CBT, I'm not familiar with that. I have to say I am thankful to have connected with you here - It is very comforting to have someone to talk to about this! The fighting for his rights is tough and tiring at times, but worth every ounce of energy and time!

Absolutely! We have to fight for them, or else who will :) If you want to chat in private, feel free to message me on Discord. If I can offer advice I will, or if you just want someone to listen, I can do that too. It is so hard being a parent at the best of times, but when you feel the whole world is against you and your child needs extra help, it can be draining!
