Good question... or is it?
A common belief out there is that the world is overpopulated. In a time where not having children is often portrayed as the "responsible" thing to do, why would I father "so many" children. In this video I talk about the development of my current understanding on this issue, and why I choose to allow for the possibility of more children in my family. Certainly is not a bad thing to have a lot of kids. The World does not have a procreating problem, it has a parenting problem. As long as you can take care of your kids, you can have as many you want

Quality of parenting (in the west), is a problem...but again, much of this is down to the inter-generational destruction of the nuclear family by governments.. (the same people telling you the earth is overpopulated, funnily enough)..

Good rant - i shan’t write loads on the subject but I agree with what you say - there’s no overpopulation - just bad management of cities often and so much bad parenting by people who don’t want kids but have them anyway and then wonder why they are out of control monsters😂 Also by growing all those greens your footprint is even smaller because your beautiful garden puts lots of clean oxygen into the air. Keep doing everything you do😉 You and your children are helping create a brighter future for the planet. 🌈

Thank you so much for sharing your point of view. I am actually one individual who has an opinion similar to those who think world is overpopulated. From my position, what I see is that it is not about space, physical space. I think in this times we all have so much influence in other's life, which means we better do it good, meaning that we must stick to the path which (being honest with ourselves) allows us to (learn to) respect "life", not leaving aside what you just said, that we need to feel we can also accomplish our desires and stuff. I mean, you can change your mind, it is a process that is going to take you as long as you let it take, but a part of life, let's say biologically, resides in those mental processes. Life is pretty much about processes.
How many times we change our minds in life? If we are young "enough" it is not a big deal (for some of us it is easy getting better every time we screw it up), but there's a moment is which you must weigh up and see that the experience of having the power to be better it let you know you can, and that is all, because if it changes and you don't feel you quite have that power anymore, then what your power is now? You must discover a new one, but if you are not sure about what it is, what do you have? You learn also that you have yourself, and that you are also someone hard to deal with, just like you could have thought anytime before or right now about anyone else... So, as you say, you choose.
I'm trying to point that it is not an space issue, or maybe a physical fact about population, but (even if there was a time when maybe we thought we could have a simple, healthy and spiritually-connected life just as you do) some of us have more than one reason and in the end all it is actually about "growing up" (the same growing up as reaching adulthood, working, earning your stuff, feeding and following your passion, having kids we all learned it was growing up, just the same but adapted to OUR modern realities)...
The experience of "growing" is important, but it is different for everyone, and I think that having more options is a good thing. Not having kids is not a sad thing anymore (remember I am woman). It is just an option. That is good. It is just part of the process of evolution of collective consciousness. I feel happy because I trust your word because I can have an appreciation of the type of life you have and I hear from your own word that it is not easy but you are still a father of a great family and also God's man.

I agree with you papa-pepper! The goal is to keep people ill. There is more money for pharmaceuticals that way. We aren't overpopulated, we have irresponsible parenting. There is enough land mass in the world to spread people out so there wouldn't be *** population problem***. As far as having insufficient food to feed the growing world population, we have mismanagement there too. People are not encouraged to be self-sufficient. The governments need people to be sheeple and depend on them for everything. All my children and grandchildren are a blessing from God. I cherish them for the gifts they are. If I could have had more, I would have. But the Creator said that I had enough.

Well, its everyone's own decision to make. But there is no question that the planet is overpopulated.
Sure one can find a lot of buts and ifs why this isn't true, but realistically it is so, at least if you want to grant everybody on the planet a standard of living as you have it, let alone the people in the cities in the US. It just doesn't work.
And if you ask why that is so, or in other words why is it all going wrong - the answer is greed, for 95% of it.

Well, thats hard to say. It depends on the way of living. If the people act responsibly with the rescources and live more like the Peppers (minus the big cars and a few things), may be 500 million to 1 billion. If they live like a lot of Americans today, about 150.

Did you hear about sarcasm? Of course this isn't a serious suggestion, for a whole lot of reasons I dont want to elaborate.
But fact is, that the average US citizen uses more rescources and produces more waste than other people in the world. You are not a average citizen, but also you life model cannot work for everybody else. Lets forget for a moment that most people wouldn't want to live that way.
You know, I wish you all the best for the path you have choosen. But its something I had to decide upon 40 years ago, and had to understand that its not the solution, not for me and even less for the whole society.
However, if you and your folks are happy this way - great.

you and I or anyone can have as many children as we want, although I hear china isn't on board with this... anyway, I want to say one thing, and lots of people get pissed off, really I don't care... you see, there are many children being brought into this world, in countries that the children are starving. We see the commercials on TV, and usually when we have sat down to eat, (talk about planned) anyway, I don't think any child should go hungry, but I also think that parents should act responsibly. I do mot donate money to these children for two reasons, one, I'm not in a position to, and two, I think that the children, and veterans in my own country need to be looked after first... I know, what an evil prick I am, well, that's just my opinion...

Why not? You are an excellent parent if you can take care of them all, provide them with food, clothes, and education.
I have only one child, and for me it is enough. No, I would certainly like to have one more, but I'm not sure I can provide it with all necessary. It turns out that a large family of one kind of compensates for the presence of only one child (or no children at all) in other families. The balance is observed.
