It's true that things are changing. Admit it the world has gone beyond what it was. You are responsible for bringing up that child of yours in the most proper way.

Teach them to fear and love God
Teach them to be wise
Give them good education
Give them better financial education
Teach them to be independent
Make them showcase their talents, allow them go to that dancing school, allow them register in that football club, let them explore enough to know what they are good at.
Give them sex education

Don't push them to things and places they can never be productive.
If they aren't successful in school it doesn't make them dull.

Help them to understand life at the early stage.
Of what use is a lesson teacher at home after their normal school hours?
Instead of giving them a lesson teacher at home to limit their sense of direction by still teaching the maths and English been taught in school, give them music tutors, dance coach, programming tutor, teach them to make beads, give them a handwork, make them do things different from what they do in school.

Our world has evolved beyond what you think. Don't limit that child of yours
