Old photos

As I mentioned in my previous post, we went to Buffalo NY to visit friends and family. While visiting our 98 year old cousin Loraine, she showed us photos of my great grand parents, My great great grand mother, and other family members. I was fascinated as I had never seen them before.

The young girl at the bottom step is cousin Loraine. The three ladies at the top were sisters. Left to right; My mother's mom Helen, Loraine's mom Blanch, and Aunt bell. The older couple is grandma Harriet & Grandpa Edward Fournier (my greats). The remaining elderly lady is my great great grandmother, known only as Grandma Foot.

This is Loraine in her mom Blanch's arms. I vaguely remember her.

A pic of Blanch with her husband Art. I couldn't picture him, but I do remember an uncle Art in my childhood.

I don't remember Aunt Bell at all,but I did hear stories about her from family. She worked in boudeville and this pic is one of the dresses she wore. I must admit she was quite attractive.
I'm hoping to find other pics of distant relatives. It seems to be a new interest for me, especially hearing the stories that go with them. I don't know how successful I'll be considering nearly all the greats and grands have passed on, but I'll try.
