Parental Favoritism And Its Long Term Damage || Be A Good Parent || DTube Exclusive #11

in family •  7 years ago

Hello @dtube,

Today I am talking about a very sensitive topic! At times, as parents we all become favorable towards one Child. We might be comparing the two children again and again showing the other kid how worthless he/she is. This is not right. Every kid is different and they all should be treated and loved equally. I am also talking about some of the ways by which you can avoid this and save your family. Be a great parent! Cheers :)

I hope you like the video. Please let me know your thoughts about this topic in the comments below. I read all of my comments and try to reply to them as early as possible. See you in the next one!

@sugandhaseth, I don't think some parents know exactly how detrimental child favoritism can be. It can lead to suicide or a lifetime battle of emotional wounds for the unfavored child.

Exactly. It actually creates a time bomb. So destructive and dangerous!

Extraordinaria definicion.

Thank you so much @caponetv. Cheers!

Child favoritism is harmful - I am still stinging from it 53 years later. :( And it's a very good reason to have only one child. Cos to consciously raise more than one child requires enormous attention, often far more than a busy working parent has to give. Grateful to have only one daughter. :)

Oeeeee this is a sensitive topic actually! All though most parents will never admit it, I think it is almost impossible NOT to favor a child more, as you most likely just have a preference to certain people in general. The key is not to let the kid to notice! (hence I am not a parent myself!)

Nice one again!

Congrats <3 and best post <3

thank you @sugandhaseth for putting forward this very sensitive yet least talked issue...
parental favoritism really has an adverse effect on a child`s mindset developing a negative attitude towards everyone...
you have put forth the message in a beautiful and candid way.... lots of love..
