Ich wünsche Dir einen guten Start in die Community, und hoffe, Du hast Dich schon etwas mit den - zugegeben reichlich komplizierten - Regeln befaßt.
Aller Anfang ist schwer, und man braucht hier etwas Geduld bis man eingebunden wird und die Kniffe kennt.
Sehr wichtig ist es vor allem, ein Schar "follower" zu sammeln, da diese vorwiegend Deine Leser sein werden. Die beste Methode follower zu bekommen ist, regelmäßig interessante Posts zu schreiben. Man kann auch um "follows" betteln, aber das kommt bei vielen nicht so gut an.
Als Start würde ich Dir folgendes vorschlagen:
Scheibe dieses Post noch mal, ruhig etwas ausführlicher, und auf deutsch.
Das postest Du dann am frühen Nachmittag, und zwar mit folgenden Tags: als erstes Tag "introduceyourself", dann "deutsch" und die anderen 3 was Du willst.
Dann kannst Du das ganze auch noch mal auf englisch (ohne den "deutsch" Tag versteht sich) am späten Abend posten.

So klein ist die gar nicht, das lohnt sich schon. Dann immer den Tag "deutsch" benutzen, damit die Leute es besser finden können.
Steemit ist zZt. noch nicht so gut strukturiert, ist aber geplant. Noch sind alle Posts zusammen in einem grossen "Topf", und es sind mittlerweile ganz schön viele. So wird man schnell übersehen. Naja, ist halt noch Beta - aber mit knapp 250000 Usern.
