Today my mom, step-father, husband and I went to visit Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, FL. It was absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect, the gardens were beautiful, the tower and estate were breathtaking, and they were having an awesome vendor plant sale.

We ended up buying a Moringa tree, a Muntingia Calabura, (aka Cotton Candy tree, Jamaican Cherry, Strawberry tree or Jam Tree) and an edible Cranberry Hibiscus. The Muntingia produces a sweet, edible berry. The Moringa and Cranberry Hibiscus both have leaves that you eat. They will make a nice addition to our garden.
The most amazing thing we saw were these HUGE, live lily pads in one of the ponds. I had no idea that lily pads grew this large. The leaves were about 6 feet across.

We did a lot of walking and had a wonderful family day.

Have a great day and enjoy a great cup of coffee.
