Mother Juanita Yáñez, was a humble woman with few resources and never signed any document, who gave her daughter adoption, the signature on the adoption documents was forged.

Three days after the birth, the social worker of Puerto Montt quoted her to the Civil Registry, to register the child, but what happened there was something very different, at that time there was a Swedish couple, to whom the girl was given and she was told that she would continue to see the girl since she should breastfeed her, that was the last day she saw her daughter.

This mother attended the hospital and asked the social worker and she answered, that she was calm because my daughter was well, that she was in Valparaíso, that she was married and that I had two grandchildren.
Every time they told him that he was in different cities in Chile. She never knew that Marianne had been adopted by a Swedish family.

It is unfair the position assumed by these social workers, in separating these children from their mothers, is that perhaps these social workers do not have mothers or children, or perhaps it was that they had some monetary payment, so it is difficult to give an opinion about it , since they are unjust actions that are taken, to which I would not know what name to give, since this situation is aberrant.

STORY OF THE MOTHER:

"I looked for it insistently. I went to talk to the same social worker who told me to be calm because my daughter was fine, she was in Valparaíso, she was married and I had two grandchildren, "Juanita said.

The adoption was made through the "Swedish Adoption Center", which worked in Chile and moved hundreds of children to that country, after the payment of sums of money that were finally in the hands of third parties and never in the families that saw how their children disappeared.

The adoptive parents were told that their mother could not take care of her and that, therefore, they had adopted her.
The people involved in the adoption of Marianne worked for the Swedish Adoption Center, the Swedish Adoption Center.

MOTHER JUANITA, SPEAKS ABOUT THE CASE:

She was a social worker who looked at the hospital when Marianne was a newborn. After a short time she came back and took Marianne away from me. They did not say where they brought it. When I looked for it, they told me that I wrote in a newspaper that I accepted an adoption, but that is not true. I could not even write at that moment, says Juanita.

Among Marianne's documents from the moment of adoption, there is a letter written by the same social worker. There is a detailed explanation of why Juanita chose to eliminate her, that she did not have the financial opportunity to take care of her, and so on.

MEETING:

Thank God, this mother and daughter, are reunited a few years ago, the mother has other adult children, all are well and now we can say that the family belongs to the Chilean middle class.

STORY OF MARIANNE SKOGLUND:

Marianne Skoglund has had a good life in Sweden. But she thinks that she would have a good life even in Chile. The mother has other adult children, all are well and now it can be said that the family belongs to the Chilean middle class.

Marianne is deeply disappointed by the people who worked in Chile for the Swedish Adoption Center. She also believes that the Adoption Center as an organization should take responsibility.

"I think of all the mothers who took their children, without wanting them, they should get some kind of erection, someone has to be answered, she says.

LOST RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Adoption Center says, however, that it can not act at all. According to the association, the information can not be taken seriously before an official accusation from the Chilean authorities is directed against them, which has not been done so far.
