In humbleness I offer the song parody, 'Scary Bad World', based on the song 'Mad World' by Tears For Fears. Expressing the scary CPS experience in a foster home, the song parody points out it is all about money. There is a war on the family. When the social worker can profit on child theft, human life means little. In fact some animals are treated better. But we have a choice to speak out and defend the family...and we must.

The Foster Care Scare

For young children the foster care experience is a tragic nightmare. They are ripped from their natural surroundings and the security of mom and dad. Unfamiliar faces are strangers to them create nervousness, pain, baggage and fear. Their lives go no where. Their dreams they once had die in the filth of the CPS foster care system, as they become beaten, battered bruised and bound in chains. Numb and silent they suffer alone...unless pro-family groups and folks who care help them undo their baggage.

It's All About The Money

The government profits on children that are stolen by the CPS. Money is made in child theft at the expense of human life. There is a war on families. The CPS detests mom and dad as they stand in the way. Yet the social worker creates lies and twists, words and laws, to accommodate their self serving interests. Yes money means more than quality of life. Baggage is created that litters up the landscape. Sorrowful faces of children who should be with their parents are scattered like waste only to discard. The system has ripped all they could from these little ones and they are now roadside trash.

Paid to steal the CPS distresses
War on family, causing messes.
And It's all about the money, the government is mad.
Their dreams in filth are dying, there's a war on mom and dad.

Treated Worse Than Abused Animals

Numb and silent they are trapped as evil encircles them. They exist battered and beaten, abused and oppressed. What a sad life. What a very bad world to be forced to live in. They do not have a choice as they are legally kidnapped for cash. They do not have a voice to say no. They are worse off than that helpless dog or cat from the ASPCA. Yet those animals get more love and attention.

Please Undo Me! - The Choice is ours!

They do not have the choice or voice...but we do! The song parody lyric echos the plea "Please undo me." We can speak for them. We can help give them the choice of freedom and family. We can wake up the world. That is what pro-family groups like @familyprotection are doing. These loving, giving groups are actively speaking out against the tyranny and oppression on the family. They are passionately promoting truth, justice and freedom. Governmental child theft does not have to exist in this world. Battered beaten children do not need to litter the landscape. I encourage you to support @familyprotection as they help fight the war on family and bring freedom to all.

Lyrically there are common threads intertwined in the messages of both the parody and the original song.

The Videos

I offer three videos to accompany the song parody. The first is by Puddles Pity Party and Haley Reinhart recorded in 2016. I was introduced to this performance through their connection with Posmodern Jukebox, which I have been a diehard listener. This is a very well done music presentation hinting a vaudeville era style. Hats off!

The second video is by Michael Andrews (and Gary Jules) 2010. Again a fine interpretation as a ballad for the song and the video intrigues my mind. Finally we hear singer, Jasmine Thompson, in her video. Again this is a ballad and updated. I did not include the original Tears For Fears Mad World as I thought the audio and recording was not as good as the above videos. Rarely does a cover outperform the original. This is the case here. Which ever video you choose, may the words of the song parody speak to your heart.
