#familyprotection is a "proprietary tag"

Who is Steemcleaners? Also, this link doesn't say people "own" the tag. It says: " Posts using these proprietary tags are typically scrutinized by the community they represent for quality."
And Tag SPAM is defined: "Tag spam, as defined by the @steemcleaners, happens when an author deliberately applies tags that don't fit the post in order to game the rewards their curators provide."
Certainly the topic here fits the category. Why is called "plargiarism"? Just because there was a copy and paste from another source?
We have been accused of the same thing, yet what we copy and paste is copyrighted by us, and is therefore not "plargiarism"

Yes, and the #familyprotection tag was created SPECIFICALLY for the @familyprotection founders and community to curate appropriate posts (scrutinize for quality), and reward deserving posts. When the tag is spammed with unrelated or copy/paste or plagiarized posts, it impedes our jobs and increases the chances that good posts will be missed amongst all the tag spam. #familyprotection is often spammed and scammed because people have noticed that we pay higher rewards than most tags.
To simply Copy/Paste information that is already on another website, can be considered abuse on Steemit. (see 2nd link above defining types of abuse), unless the account has verified and proven that they are the actual author.
Ways to verify a Steemit account are mentioned in the second link above.

Another way to get around the cheetah bot is to post first on steemit and then on your website, this is what some of the big you tubers do to avoid being suspected of plagiarism, another way is to remix your old work a bit, add a few original lines and thoughts to make it unik to steemit, add quotations, link the source etc. all this should get cheetah off your back, or verify your account like explained above. This is not criticism, it's helpful advice.
Another way to get support when using a certain tag is to be nice to the people who created it and stop trying to discredit them. We apologized for thinking you was an imposter and we never flagged you for asking us a question.
@canadian-coconut told you she flagged you because she did not believe you were the real HIN and I said you were flagged for suspected plagiarism meaning that we suspected you were stealing someone else's work, we both gave you the same reason for the flag yet you continued to ignore our attempts to straighten things out.
We have to be suspicious when a big name joins steemit, just look at the @nomorefakenews account which was another case of stolen identity that happened a week ago. This happenes a lot on steemit, but again I'm sure you will overlook this part as you are convinced we flagged you for asking us a question about who we are when we have told you on numerous occasions.
We don't have an external website because we were born on the Blockchain and believe that soon everything will emigrate to the Blockchain, plus they cost money to create and maintain which means less money for the people it's meant for.
You also continued to insist we are anonymous yet I have never once hidden who I am, I am the face of @familyprotection, my name is Mark Whittam, my face, phone number, email, and passport have been shown on steemit.
Whilst reading your recent attempt to discredit us on your website I had a look around and to be honest I really like and respect what you are doing, I would love to help you get the attention on steemit that you deserve but you're making it very hard for me and @canadian-coconut.
We have waved the white flag on numerous occasions but you continue to be defensive and ignore our attempts to answer your questions.
You have pointed out on NUMEROUS occasions that you've been doing this for 3 years and that we see you as a threat, I'm sorry to inform you but you are not a threat to us in the slightest, we reward people for their stories and evidence, and most of these people donate some of those rewards back to the cause, how are you a threat to that, what will you achieve by "exposing" that.
After trying to explain the situation you continued to be defensive so we just ignored you, then you wrote a post about us which got ignored, then you continued to use the tag we created and write comments to provoke us which tells me that we are a threat to you, it tells me that you can't just let go and continue with your life like we are trying to do.
Instead of trying so hard to discredit us maybe you should just leave us be, and concentrate on your thing, what do you need us for if you've been doing this for 3 year "before steem" Why do we bother you if you are such a big shot, surly you'll make it here with or without us, especially if we are what you say we are.
All this time we are wasting with "he said, she said" when we should all be getting on with exposing the real problems that happen in this world.

Hey Mark, I think it is obvious to anyone who reads your comment that you are the one who continues to criticize us. That's a shame. This comment was totally unnecessary, and not helpful at all.

Oh Dear.
"Why is called "plargiarism"? Just because there was a copy and paste from another source?
We have been accused of the same thing, yet what we copy and paste is copyrighted by us, and is therefore not "plargiarism""
You run a blog with it's own website and you do not understand that straight copy and paste is considered plagiarism. Let alone how spell check works.
There is a way around this so the cheetah does not pick on you. You can take a screenshot of your outside source and post it with the statement that it is from an outside source and state the source. Understand that these steps need to be taken to ensure that people are not getting rewards for simply copying other people's blogs. And yes even though you are the author at this outside source cheetah does not make special consideration. It is designed to search out the web for copy and paste and let the readers of this blog know that it is out there. If you try to simply copy and paste you loose credibility here. With being new you really do not want to do that.
I sure hope this information helps you understand that Steemit is different and wants new content not copy paste. How would you feel if you were not the author and you found your content on here posted by someone else and they were getting rewards for your work? This is the reason for cheetah. And to answer your question cheetah does not give you rewards it is a bot and only leaves a comment on your work. There is another bot that will pick you up if you show a pattern of plagiarism. And if you get pick up by that one you will have a very hard time getting past it and your work will be hidden. So please reconsider the way you post your work.

"Steemit is different and wants new content"
According to whom? You are personifying "Steemit" here. Are you referring to the creators of Steemit? Is this official policy somewhere?
"So please reconsider the way you post your work."
Since we have joined Steemit, members of the FP group have continually criticized us and told what we should and should not do. It was our understanding that blockchain technology was peer to peer, and not tyrannical.
Our purpose is very clear: bringing exposure to this horrible topic (and others). We are not here for monetary awards. And if cross-posting content and getting it on the blockchain accomplishes that purpose, why do we continue to be attacked by your group? Is this really worth our time?
To be constantly told what we should or should not be doing is very tiresome. We are not a large well-funded media organization, and we have a certain way of publishing our content.
To significantly change that would require time and resources on our end, and we have not yet made the decision to do so here on Steemit. We are still evaluating it.

please read what Cheetah is all about. https://steemit.com/steemit/@cheetah/faq-about-cheetah
Pay attention to this statement "In general, on Steemit, original content is more well received compared to reposts. And reposters that attempt to trick the readers into believing they are providing fresh content, can ruin their reputation forever."
So as there is no official rule that Steemit wants new content, many of the time readers do not like to see a straight copy and paste. They would rather see a link and added content explaining the link. take some time and read some of the posts of older and more successful bloggers here on Steemit and see how they do their blogs. I would say take a look at some of the posts that FP does but you seem to not want anything to do with them. And that is fine and your choice. Many of the members truly care about helping others and putting an end to CPS.
There are others that you should be aware of that will make it their mission to destroy your account if they feel it is nothing more than a copy and paste. There is a group of "whales" that if they get on your case it is very hard to recover from. FP had recently dealt with just 1 of these guys and it took the group to plea to this guy to stop. His downvote wiped out all of FP upvotes.
Than you have SteemCleaners, this is a group of people that spend their time finding and flagging copy and paste work. The difference between them and Cheetah is they are not a bot. And depending on who you actually get to talk to will depend on if they allow you to continue to post this type of content. If you get on their radar you will most likely loose all your reputation and your posts will be hidden.
I am telling you this simply because I do not want to see your account go into dust before it has even had a chance to thrive here. And honestly I feel that HIN and FP have the same goals that if you join together you both can be stronger. Rather than use the time and energy trying to tear each other down.
But that choice is solely up to you.
I want to thank you for taking the time and reading my comment. I mean you only good things and wish you the best in your account here on Steemit and your other website. CPS is a BEAST and we are stronger together.
