Social services in the UK have abandoned working class kids to their fate.
The public and groups like SAS are the last line of defence against religous grooming/abuse gangs.
SAS do great work in combating religious abuse gangs. However great their and others work is it shouldn't be them having to do it.
It's the job of social services to protect vulnerable children!!

It's disgusting that groups such as SAS have to exist. Social services know about these gangs although they try to deny or downplay their scale and their own role in allowing these vile gangs to go unchallenged.
This isn't just a problem with social services in fact it's a problem with all societies agencies. The police, the media and most of authority. The problem in my view, as it is wherever in the world you live is the view that the wealthy have of the working class. They believe that the working class are the authors of their own problems And by the very nature of their work, are inferior to "professionals"
They believe that there is something lacking in the working class for them to be part of that class.
You can see in the UK that while if you make fun of or mock certain groups it is classed as what it is, bullying, oppression, racism or homophobia. Yet you can abuse the working class community without any outrage being caused. There are TV programmes that mock the working class, comedy, dramas, soap operas, they all give a stereotypical negative view of the working class. In an age where most identity groups have strong protections from abuse of the rest of society, the working class have none.
This is why social services have abandoned working class kids to their fate! Because the whole narrative on the working class is negative and that we are fair game. This narrative must change.

I was a victim myself of social services. That scandal (that still hasn't had an effective enquiry) was childrens homes. After revelations of this scandal the model of childrens homes was changed and they became the last resort.
Even after these changes the abuse has continued, just in a different model. So it isn't the model it's the narrative.
That narrative is the narrative that says that working class communities are worth less due to the fact that of the career path they take and their financial status. In this narrative the working class are seen as a community that needs to be watched and re-educated.

We are a community that when we come together are a force, as evidenced by the vote to leave the EU. The estabishment also realize this and are always attempting to divide us. First they used a politician called Nigel Farage and now they are using a politician called Jeremy Corbyn. Both have had the effect of dividing the working class vote base. The division is usually around race and immigration.The working class are use as pawns!!

After the working class fought WW2 they were promised a new system called the welfare state to acknowledge the working class contribution.
As manual labour has been replaced this settlement is being withdrawn, bit by bit!!
Now, social services are not being used to protect the most vulnerable in society. Instead they are being used as tools of the state to survey and re-educate the working class of their nationalistic views.

I am challenging social services through the courts to get some closure to the abuse i suffered in childrens homes through my early life. However, social services are now involved in my childrens lives. My step daughter has had a baby and due to her choice in partner social services are heavily involved in her and her babies lives. They haven't done a thing wrong. She is a great mother. Her "careplan" involves a private company providing her "care".
As usual, they have commodified the working class yet again. Now private companies provide that care for social services. The "care" they provide isn't assessed by social services. It becomes quite apparent when you look into it, that their first consideration is profit. Obviously this involves as much intervention as possible. It's a scandal in itself!!
I am currently investigating the private company used to provide services for social services in my area "Next Step".
When i have got enough information i plan to write a post about them. They manipulate the children in their care so they provide more "care". This "care" is based on what makes the most profit rather than what is best for the child.
Using private companies to provide this "care" is flawed at best.
The whole narrative about the working class needs to change. We are not, lazy, feckless or the authors of our own abuse. We are a vibrant, hard working community.

We have built this nation.

We must all stand up and fight against this tyranny.
