Chapter 2

December the 1st our first day of Christmas break, what does my crowd decide to do ? Clubbing. Yay, a crowded, loud, room. Great exactly what I need.
Regardless I decide to go, what kind of a let down would I be if I didn’t right ?
I get ready: I put on my black, sequin body-con dress and, curl my hair and do light make up because I really wasn’t trying to impress anyone.

Soon after I finish my make up I hear Dixie’s car pull up out side my house, I slip on my heels and run out. In the car I’m greeted by my posse : Dixie, Vanessa, Georgia and their three boy friends. As you can probably tell, I’m single and definitely not ready to mingle. I’m scared of relationships because of my ex, I cant let any guy into my life and break me like he did ever again.

We arrive at the club, one flash of our fake IDs and we’re in. As soon as we’re in I take my usual place by the bar, alone.

After a few virgin mojitos someone sits on the stool next to me, I can see he’s subtly checking me out. I make out a few of his features he has an incredible face structure and beautiful eyes. I say nothing. But he’s probably just a fuck-boy. Right?

I start to feel very claustrophobic so I reach into my bag to find my pills. Crap. It hits me, they’re still in my school bag. How could I forget them !? My eyes fill with tears, my mascara starts to run. I cant breathe. My lungs feel like they’ve completely collapsed.

I run to the bathroom and fall to the floor. Crying. But this time I wasn’t alone I hear someone running, I feel someone pick me up but I cant see them because my vision is blurred.

“Who is that” I squeak

“My name is Shawn and you’re going to be ok”
