Contest Update #1
As this is a work in progress, there will obviously be some adjustments along the way. This update will only affect future contests and have no impact on the first two already issued.
Upon review of the current setup, I've decided that the additional commenting step is unnecessary. Originally, it was conceived as a method of determining deadline eligibility. But upon review of the tools available to me, I discovered another way of determining that with ease. Therefore, the plan is to remove the hassle of an additional step.
As it stands, the list will still be finalized at the time of the deadline w/ the original comments being updated to reflect those who qualify.
So to summarize - expect a slightly easier participation process going forward.
